CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!
Large Campmeeting Concert

Scott's latest concert was held at a large church campmeeting held in Cedar Lake, Michigan. Nearly 5,000 people attended this year and Scott was able to share a short concert with them Friday night as well as sing for the teens in Teen Tent and young adults in Youth Tent. The highlight of Friday night's concert was when Scott and Camille Aragones www.camillearagones.com sang the duet "The Prayer" together on stage. Scott and Camille have a vocal chemistry that is only now being explored. Keep an eye out for them as they likely will make appearances together in the near future.
Scott was able to share several songs with his audience including his classically inspired version of "The Lord's Prayer" as well as "God Gave Me Back" at the piano. On Saturday, the campmeeting Teen Tent was the stage as Scott and Camille teamed up to provide a moving and deeply spiritual mini-concert for over 50 teens and adults.

Later in the evening Scott and Camille once again shared their vocal passion with nearly 100 young adults in the Youth Tent singing "The Prayer" and "God Gave Me Back". The powerful songs combined with a powerful message that evening led to the close of Campmeeting 2009. The night ended with a CD signing where many shared that they were deeply moved by the music Scott and Camille shared over the weekend.

Next stop was Sabbath at the Camelback church with two special numbers in the morning and a full concert in the afternoon. After a hot Saturday in Phoenix, Scott and Heather were grateful for the 2 hour drive to Tucson that night where the temperature averages 10 degrees cooler. Sunday morning brought another series of special songs at Vista del la Montana UMC church in Tucson and then a full afternoon concert at Vista. Many warm friendships were forged during our time at Vista and we hope to sing there again!

Monday, Scott and Heather received a much-needed break before preparing for the National ASI convention on Tuesday. Scott and Heather assisted Dane and Vicki Griffin with the Lifestyle Matters and Balance Magazine health booth at the Phoenix Convention Center from Wednesday through Friday. On Saturday, Scott sang a special song for the morning service at the main auditorium before once again jetting off to Tucson to share a short song for the Midvale Park church's morning service. Then a concert that evening at Midvale, then another 2 hour drive to Phoenix to tear down the booth at the convention center. After completion of loading the cargo van with booth materials, the couple drove back to Tucson and arrived around 3 am, grabbed a few hours of much-needed sleep and arrived at 7 am at Christ's Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior in Green Valley ready to share three more songs for their morning service. Another afternoon concert was given and many people were blessed!

Thursday the couple drove from Tucson to Sacramento, California to sing for the main service and give a full evening concert at Sacramento Central SDA Church where Doug Batchelor is the Senior pastor. You can learn more about Pr. Doug by clicking here. The next morning on Sunday, they drove to San Francisco to sing at a close friend, Jamie Carlson's, wedding. After singing a couple of numbers at the wedding and enjoying the beautiful ceremony, the duo drove back to Tucson through the night, arriving at 5 am the next morning. Scott recalls watching the sun set as he drove, and then watching it rise before they arrived back in Tucson. "The tour was amazing", Scott recalls "we met and became close to so many people, and we've had so many invitations to return and sing at other churches and events in the area...we'll be back!" And they certainly will. Even now, a new and even fuller tour is being planned for 2010 which will include stops in Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington. Visit their tour schedule to see where they will be next.

A MIRACLE ON WHEELS

FreshDay Music has needed a motorhome for several months. Recent requests to share our inspirational concerts have come in from all over the country and because we currently live in Southwest Michigan, we have been limited to regionally local mini-tours. We both have prayed for a "home on wheels" that we could use to live in fulltime and tour the country, inspiring more and more individuals to connect with their Creator and in turn connect with people who don't yet know Him.

We are excited to share that those prayers have been answered! Through a series of God-driven events over the last two weeks, we have purchased an MCI-9 motorcoach in an effort to make our touring dream a reality. Many individuals have been asking us how they can help our ministry. Several of you have requested we accept monthly donations to the ministry. In every case, we have politely turned down those requests because God has supplied everything we needed. At this point, we believe that He may be giving us a chance to include you in his efforts to spread these inspiring messages in song. In light of this, we are dedicating a page solely to our coach and the progress we make on it. It is a bus only. A conversion needs to be made to put it on the road as a motorhome. If you are interested in following the progress of this project or would like to find out how you can help us, please click here.

Upper Peninsula Tours

Scott & Heather have traveled several times to Michigan's north and Upper Peninsula to give concerts. They have been well-received by Traverse City, Escanaba, Houghton, Gaylord, Petoskey, and Alpena in recent weeks. Michigan's north and U.P. are beautiful destinations with a gorgeous blend of pine and deciduous forests as well as some open grassland. In the winter, crisp cold and fresh snow add to the seasonal beauty.

These areas boast large expanses of forest that strech for miles in any direction. Surrounded by the largest bodies of freshwater, the U.P. is especially rural and one can drive for hours without seeing another vehicle. The U.P. Also has several of Michigan's most beautiful water falls and rock outcroppings.  Black bear, gray wolf, and even a rare mountain lion are seen in the U.P. As well as elk and plenty of white-tailed deer. If you haven't visited Michigan's Upper Peninsula, we recommend a trip!
